The City of Bath Fuchsia Society was formed some 17 years ago and in March 1997 it became a Fuchsia & Pelargonium Society in the hope of attracting Pelargonium (Geranium ) lovers and
exhibitors - there being a lack of such groups in the area of Bath, Bristol and District.

The Society is a friendly locally run club for people everywhere interested in growing Fuchsias and Pelargoniums in a friendly and conductive atmosphere.

Meetings are held at The Hillside Hall, Cotswold Road,
Moorfields, Bath,
when most months guest speakers give talks, often with slides, on different aspects of cultivation such as propagation, pests and diseases, over wintering and showing etc.

Beginners/Informal Evenings are arranged 6 times a year, usually held in a members house, garden or greenhouse. Any members are most welcome and all input is especially encourages and appreciated by everyone.

New Members are most welcome. The Society invite you to join them FREE for the first 2 meetings to sample the hospitality etc. Under 16's are especially encouraged to join us FREE and SPECIAL CLASSES exist for them in our shows.

Two Annual Shows are held, one for Pelargoniums usually on the first Saturday in May and one for Fuchsias usually on the third Saturday in August. There are many classes to enter where
beginners and experienced members can compete with fellow
competitors with similar abilities.

The Society has a quarterly newsletter, a library where books and video can be hired for a very small fee and a discount sales table with pots and compost etc at reasonable cost.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. If you would like further details please contact one of the following:-
